I created a website on my localhost, exported the portal template, and used the site wizard to re-create the site online. Everything worked just as expected, but I am having a really bizzare issue. The common task links in the control panel are not working! I click on "Site Settings", "Users", or "Files" and the browser goes to the home page. This is not really a huge deal because I can get to these pages under the root Admin page.

I have been working with DNN for a long time and never had this issue. I could ignore it, but I can't help to think that this issue needs to be resolved so I avoid problems down the road.

Can anyone please help me with this problem? Thanks!

I'm getting a similar issue that was originally with 4.8.0.  The login link on the landing page footer would not work.

We decided to try upgrading one of our sites to 5.4.3 and at least I can log in as host now.  Once I did, I found that even with 5.4.3, the control panel links won't work, except help will link to the DNN site.  Add module, page settings, site links, etc. none work.  Also, no edit content link on the page for any module will work.

The drop down action menus work, though.

This has to be a page settings issue, somehow, that has persisted through the updates so it has to be a purposeful valid setting.  I have no idea what it could be.

Does this ring a bell for you.
