Hello DNN people!

I'm presently using DNN 5.3.1

I have this very frustrating issue. I have several modules on the from page that connect to other modules on other pages on my website (search, profile, photos, etc). I have ALL pages set to allow ALL USERS to view detail(or whatever) where the called modules are located. I have each modules set to ALL USERS. But, there's something wacky with my security. Every time an UN-Authenticated user tries to view detail from the modules on the other pages, they are referred to the login page of DNN (i.e. needs to be a registered user to see detail).

Can someone please tell me what I need to do to fix this?

Thanks!

This depends on the page permissions (and module permissions) on the destination page. Of course, there are also other permission concerns too (custom logic in the module, the control's view type).

I looked into the module and it's module it was pointing to. I still have this issue. Is there some global setting in DNN that could cause this to happen?

James,

Check the page permission level of the target page containing the module.  Is it also set to "All Users"?

Paul.

Hi Paul and thank you for your input. I checked out the target page and it is set to "ALL USERS". I'm going to restart the application (DNN) and see if that helps.
