Can someone verify this for me please?

I have setup an additional SQL Connection in my web.config for an external database which works correctly (as verified by another module). The problem is that when I use the SQL utility under Host options and select this database, all SQL statements are run against the DNN DB (SiteSQLServer). It seems as though DNN pays no attention to which SQL connection I have selected.

AFAIR this is a known issue, already entered into Gemini (support.dotnetnuke.com)

Sebastian, you're absolutely right. This was reported in to Gemini back on 2010-04-01 by Joe Brinkman (http://support.dotnetnuke.com/issue/ViewIssue.aspx?id=12103&PROJID=2). According to Gemini, it's scheduled to be fixed for v5.4.2.

5.4.2 is schedule for May, i.e. you might stay on DNN 5.2.3 until it will be available.
