I have just completed the installation of a DNN site on windows server 2003. The version is 5.01.03 (25) and I am using SQL Express. I have installed the site with no errors but when I navigate to the Host>Portals page to add another alias no portal details are displayed for the site. The page is displayed with headings but the portal id and other details are missing. I have logged into SQL Express and can see the portal data in both the portal and portal alias table.

I have installed this version with no problems on another server.

Thanks for any help. M.

I would also like to add that I tried to create a child portal, just to see if the details would show up. When I selected the add new portal page the page did not display correctly. The descriptions of most of the boxes were missing (not all of them) and the blue help ? icon was missing . The Portal name field description and all the security field descriptions for user name, email and password were missing. Also the button for create new portal said update (and not create new portal like other sites using the same version) and did not work when clicked on. Only the cancel button worked. I downloaded this code straight from DNN for 5.01.03 new install. I have downloaded this same code on 4 other servers and have not had a problem. I have checked the alias table in SQL against the other installations and see no differences. The site behaves perfectly otherwise.
