Hi,

I'm using version 4.9.5 of DNN for a client site and when we launched the site it looked just fine to the end user.

www.claysamhomes.com

Now the site has the Modes visible in a new top bar of the web site.  You can see that the selected mode is View but you can click on edit.  It doesn't do anything but still.

How do I have this removed for the end user?  It should only appear for an admin from what I knew.

Thanks,
Tanya

This most often occurs when users are in edit mode of a module on the page. Can you verify the modules on that page do not have all users in edit mode?

what Nick is saying: check all modules to ensure, "Edit Module" permission has not been granted improperly to any security role, usually neither registered users nor unauthenticated users should get it assigned.
