I have SSL enabled on my site and it works as designed just fine.... however I created a few random aspx pages and dropped them in the root of my site to do some extra work for me. These pages CANNOT be viewed using ssl for some reason. There must be something in the web.config that is telling this application (I am using the dnn web config file) to reload my pages NOT using ssl.

Can anyone help me understand why this is? I want to be able to drop a few aspx pages in my site and access using ssl.

Thanks

It is probably related to the fact that I am running friendly urls... just need to know how to make this work.

Are you enabling each page when created in the Advanced settings to be Secure?
In your Site Settings, is Enforce SSL selected?
What Friendly URL provider are you using?

Yes but I am not dealing with a DNN page in this instance... SSL on DNN is working as expected.
I turn it on for the pages I want it on for.
The FriendlyURL provider is the DNN provider.

The problem is when I drop an aspx page in the root of the site I cannot access that page using ssl.. it gets redirected to the port 80 page.
Thanks

This is really getting frustrating. I am unsure why this problem exists.

I am unable to access any page in this website using SSL if the page is not under the DNN core..
I turned of friendly url... no change.
I have played with forcing SSL - I have it on but turning it off does not change my problem so that probably isnt related.
