the latest dnn upgrade to 5.4.x makes my page called "Update Profile" go to a page that displays the profile and then has a link to "Edit Profile"
This is confusing some older users, and is an unnecessary extra step.

I'd like to have a link from the main DNN menu directly to the update profile section.  However, it requires the userID number.
From Text/HTML module, I can use the token [User:UserID] in a link...

Is there a way to do this within the DNN menu system?

I think the logic is reversed....

Also, how can I link directly to "Send A User A Message"

I think developers tend to forget how easy it is to confuse older website users.... so they need very obvious direct links.

To link to "Edit Profile", or at least to the page you once had in older versions of dotnetnuke (better in my opinion).... do a link to the following:

1. Add a Text/HTML module and make sure "Replace Tokens" is on.
2. Make a link to http://mydomain.com/UserProfile/tabid/NEED_TO_FIGURE_THIS_OUT/ctl/Profile/userId/[User:UserID]/Default.aspx
3. Replace  NEED_TO_FIGURE_THIS_OUT with the numeric TabID to your UserProfile page.
