Hi all,

I created a testing portal template with some DNN Core modules inside which are HTML Text, FAQ, Blog and Store Module. Then I exported the portal as template (including content). After that, I created new portal using this template. HTML, FAQ module displaying well with its contents, but Blog and Store module did not include its settings and contents. Anybody have an idea? Are these modules need to be exported separately then import it in new portal?

Fanny, please do not crosspost in multiple forums. please validate in Host :: Extensions, that both modules have "iPortable" support enabled.

Cheers from Germany,

Sebastian, Sorry for multiple posts. I have checked that both modules do support IPORTABLE. But they do not include its settings and contents in new portal (created from exported template). When I exported the template I enabled 'Include Content' option. So may be this is a bug in Blog and Store module. Anybody who could help? Thanks

check the exported file (it is in xml format), whether the content is included. Settings have been added in 5.3 to the core export function. if you import in another site, maybe necessary data like userid of authors is missing.

Yes, the contents is included in the template file for both Blog and Store module. I'm using DNN 5.4.2. Any ideas why the contents and settings were not imported properly in new portal? The new portal created under same DNN instance.
It did import properly for FAQ, HTML and Announcement module.
