Dear all,
I'm having disconcerting issues with SSL.

I'm running 5.3.1. An SSL cert was applied to my site, via netscaler. It should be working ok.

However, when I check the SSL settings (SSL enabled and SSL enforced), I get the following message, I get locked out of pages that have SSL enabled and all hell breaks loose:

"The page isn't redirecting properly

Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete.

    *   This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept
          cookies."

Can anyone please help? I have no idea on how to properly set up SSL on my site and your help is much, much appreciated it!

Thanks in advance,

L

did you specify SSL required for the page? did you assign a dedicated IP address for the site?

hi, Sebastian.
Many thanks for your reply.

I get that error precisely when I select "ssl enabled" or "ssl required".

Regarding the IP, I believe it is properly set, since the site is already in production and sits behind a netscaler.

We''ve been trying to implement SSL for a while and I've been told the SSL cert is already in place. All I have to do is change the links.
Since the pages of DNN are dynamically generated, the only "link" I can think of is the portal alias (I tried typing https:///... but it did nothing) and this SSL setting.

Am I missing something? Is there anything else I should do to change the references to https?

Many, many thanks for your help,

L

Hi All,

How can assign dynamic SSL on specific part of self developed custom module ?

I am create custom module which have several *.ascx module pages as per the requirment i am calling specific module page.
For example I have ViewOrderList.ascx page in custom module, when i want to Create Order i am calling AddOrder.

Now i want to add SSL only on AddOrder not on ViewOrderList, How can i do it ?

I have already drop the control in page and applied SSL it work fine, but i want to apply SSL dynamicaly on specific page(dynamicaly) inside the custom control

Thanks in advance,
