I have raised a feature request for the Telerik RadEditor Provider to support the Forced Width at instance, module or portal level like the FCK editor used to do. This was invaluable for customizing editor widths on different size edit pages.

Please add your support if you need this!

I couldn't agree more.  I posted a comment as requested and, as an added bonus for others reading this thread, below is the text of what posted.


Yes, I also see this as essential as well as the additional comment about the Image Editor.

The other thing I would REALLY like to see is the ability to choose a Toolbar set based on Role.  In FCK I could set a very minimal Toolbar for Registered Users for things like adding and event to the calendar.  Another for Site Content Creators to use that was more full featured, but didn't allow access to things like Font Size and Color so they could wreck the site design.  And then the full editor for Administrators and Host accounts.

All of these feature gave me much more power to customize and manage a site.

I totally agree. I've spent much of today reading posts and hacks, with no solution.

Adjusting the width of the editor is crucial because every time the editor is opened we have to stretch it from the default 650px to 900 px. It feels like a step back to 2004.

Your assistance is appreciated!
