Hi,

I have a simple question about RAD Editor capacities. I would like to build a link clicks tracking report for my portal. I was wondering if RAD Editor supports link clicks tracking (I think FCK Editor allowed it if I am not wrong). Basically when a user clicks on a link (file, URL or page) a log would be stored in database.

I have searched and didn't find anything... In the case RAD editor didn't support that, will this capacity be incorporated in the next releases ?

Thanks for yours answers,

Nicolas

any link using LinkClick.aspx and option "track link clicks" will be tracked when clicked, however the rich text editors do not provide an UI to get a tracking report, i.e. you need to create it yourself (e.g. using Reports module)

Hi Sebastian,

Thanks for your answer. For the reporting I was planning to use Reporting Service of Microsoft, but still for the track link system, I don't see any references of LinkClick.aspx for a link created with RAD Editor.

There is no option to track the link in the UI... so basically the link becomes http://www.google.fr . There's definitey no call to linkclick.aspx. Do I miss something or is the RAD Editor unable to track links ?

Thanks for your help,

Nicolas
