I am trying to manage a number of sites on one DNN CE installation as I get familiar with how to work with it.  I am also learning about the drawbacks and why might I not want to use this for a CMS system.

I am hoping that as I get more familiar with how to maintain this system and learn about all its features I will be able to accomplish anything I want to with building sites for clients that are fast and easy to navigate rich with features.

However I am not sure if I am thinking about how this application is to be used properly.

Should I be using seperate DNN CE installations for each website?  I was sending feedback to myself on one portal and I believe all the admins for each portal received this email which has me curious what else they may be getting.  Maybe it was just a feedback 5.001 module problem... however the email side of this does not seem to function like other CMS or Forum systems do.  There is no seperation as far as which portal admins get the emails, and I cant see how everyone got this email that was on my system.  Only one person said they got it so far... I just wonder how many more got it if not everyone on all portals.

I still have a email server that I can send emails to people just no one to set SMTP settings for each portal so that they use thier own email address to send out emails to their users I guess.  Which is why I am thinking I need a seperate DNN installation for each website instead of just using one system to manage many.

Am I right?
