I had a Windows 2008 Server running DNN and it worked fine.  I've since installed Coldfusion 8 on that server.  Now, whenever I try to access the DNN site.  I get the following error:

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Server Error in '/dotnetnuke' Application.

No http handler was found for request type 'GET'

Description: An unhandled exception occurred during the execution of the current web request. Please review the stack trace for more information about the error and where it originated in the code.

Exception Details: System.Web.HttpException: No http handler was found for request type 'GET'

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I have since downloaded and reinstalled DNN 5.05.00 to see if that will fix the problem but that did not work.

I'd appreciate some assistance if anyone has seen this problem before and knows how to solve it.

please validate you coldfusion configuration, it might have installed a different web server on port 80, which interferes with access to any .Net application on localhost.

I have been able ot confirm that ColdFusion installation is using the IIS 7.   The only thing a bit odd that I can remember is that version of ColdFusion required that IIS install the IIS 6 Management Compatibility option.

Thanks.  You ended up pointing me in the right direction.  I found that ColdFusion took over all operations on the default web site.  I was able to get them to co-exist by creating a new site for ColdFusion on a different port.

Thanks again
