Hi,

On one of the portals on my DNN 5.2.3 instance ReturnURL is not working when trying to access pages that are not available publicly.
ReturnURL is appended to the redirected URL to the Login page but it seems to be ignored.

I read somewhere that ReturnURL does not work when a custom registration and/or login page is set in site settings. I removed this pages, but still the url looks like:

http://www.domain.com/Login.aspx?ReturnURL=...

instead of:

http://www.domain.com/Default.aspx?Re...=...

Any idea what might cause this?

Do you have the Redirect After Login setting configured in the User Settings? If so, unset that.

User Settings can be accessed from the Actions menu on the User Accounts page.

Hi,

But this does not make sense - I want users to go to a specific page when login, but when their session timesout from a page, i want them to go to their last page after login (not the page after login from settings).

I am having this issue and would really appreciate if you can help.
