I am using DNN 4.9.5 with a module called Indoo Grid. Indoo is dynamic content/form generation. My problem is that the DNN search does not index any of the content or pages generated by indoo. Is there a way to get the DNN Search indexer to index those pages?

Does that Module support ISearchable? If not it won't be indexed. You'll likely need to ask the Developer if it does. You can check by going to the Host/Module Definitions page, "edit" the module and see what the Supported Features are, see if the Search option is checked.

Chris -- Thanks for the reply.

I checked the module definition in HOST and the search setting is checked. I also submitted 2 entries in the vendor's forum several weeks ago and just recently, but they have not responded to my question. Do you have any other thoughts on what I can do?

some generic modules require additional configuration for search support. did you check the manual for this?

You might try running some SQL to see if perhaps things are actually getting indexed. Here's some example code

select top 100 * from searchitem

See if you see any data from that module. You may need to change the number of records you pull back to something larger than 100, but be careful depending on how much data is in that table
