I have setup a DNN 5 site and would like to share login state from DNN with the other asp .net applications that I have on my site. I am using 3rd party  applications for my forum (Yet Another Forum .NET) and for my blog (Blog Engine .NET). I have synchronized membership and roles between the three applications so that it uses DNN's membership and roles. I would like to be able to have my users login through the DNN portal and login on the blog and forum at the same time. I'm new to authentication methods, but I think it might have something to do with changing how the applications are authenticated and what page authenticates them. Please let me know if there is a way to maintain login state throughout the site. Thanks much.

I don't mean to double post, but I figured out how to maintain login state throughout my web applications. I just had to make sure that the validationKey and decryptionKey were the same in all web.config files and change the form name to .DOTNETNUKE in all web.config files. Authentication is done through ASP .NET authentication cookies and setting the authentication information for each web.config file fixes the authentication sharing. You may mark this thread as closed. Thanks.
