I accidentally used the Truncate command for the DOTNETNUKE table in SQL. It cleared out the SITE LOGs in DNN. I was doing it to resolve some performance issues of the site. Now, I would like to restore the Site Logs back. I have backups of the Windows server for the last 7 days (entire image).

What would I need to restore from a previous image to restore these logs?

do you have a backup of the DNN database? restore it to a different name and use insert statement to copy over rows from one table to the other.

Hi Sebastian, Thank you for your response. I am not very confident working with databases. I have the image of the whole server so I am sure I have a backup of the database. Can you tell me how to restore the database to a different name? I am sure how to copy over rows from one table/database to another either.

you need to setup the image of your backup separately and may export sitelog data (e.g. using MS access) and add it to the sitelog table of the other server. I don't see another chance accessing the data inside.
