Thanks for the quick response - but I am not understanding your answer.  Are you saying that if 3.5 SP1 is being used that it will say 3.5 SP1 on my host setting page?  AND, if it only says 3.5 on my host setting page that I should apply the fix for 3.5 and not 3.5 SP1?

if you have access to "software" or "Programs" in Windows Control Center, you may check whether 3.5 SP 1 is installed (even if there are no pending windows security update notifications, it should be up2date.

Besides, if you use the 3.5 SP1 solution and are able to browse /error.aspx, it should be fine

I think people need to be cautious.  It appears to me that the host settings can display 3.5, but you may have 3.5 SP1 installed.  The instructions for 3.5 and 3.5 SP1 are different.

My host provider has confirmed that 3.5SP1 installed on the server, but my host settings says 3.5. I am going to follow the instruction for 3.5 SP1.

Thank you Sebastian - I have followed the action for 3.5 SP1 and as you advised this is working fine.  Thank you to all for making us aware of the issue, telling us what to do, and how to test it to make sure it works.  Good job all! And, Power to community.
