I have a site that requires user registration for certain functions. For soem reason when a user signs up and submits the info... the site will hang. The user does get registered - but because the page does not do anything (except have the red box that move at the bottom to show that the site is processing the info) - they will refresh the page (most of the time) and try to sign up again  - they will then be presented with a message stating that the user name they have chose is already taken - when in fact it is their original sign up that is causign this issue.

Anyone know why the site would no redirect after it comepletes this process. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Basic site info:

DNN 5.5
IIS7
.Net 4.0

The site performs fine in every other way from what I can tell... are there any SQL scripts that can be run to clean up a database like in PHP MySQL?

Any chance you are having problems sending emails within DNN? Perhaps the process is getting hung up on the email notification that registration tries to generate?
