I have a child portal that is visible to registered users only.  Within this portal there are pages with presentations and videos.   Instead of creating a page for each video I wanted to just place all of the videos in a list on one page and when clicked allow the default media player to play the video.  Problem is when doing it this way people can copy the url of the video a send it to others allowing anyone to view it.  I know I can block if I place each video within its own page but there are hundreds of videos and I wanted to keep the site so it will be easy to maintain while being secure.  I tried securing it at a folder level but It doesn't allow the video to play.  Any help would be great.

You could check out the Ultra Video Gallery module, it will allow you to secure videos by role.
