Hi All,

I am aware this has been asked a few times, but after applying the steps as mentioned in most of them I am still unable to upload large files.

I am currently using DotNetNuke Version: 04.09.00.

I have updated the web.config file as below:

httpRuntime useFullyQualifiedRedirectUrl="true" maxRequestLength="40960" requestLengthDiskThreshold="40960" executionTimeout="1200"

But even after changing the settings, rebooting the Webserver, I am not able to upload a zip file which is 30 Mb in size. I tried from a client as well as from the server locally and not able to get it working.

The error I get on a client is: "The system cannot find the file specified."

Any help related the same is greatly appreciated.

Best Regards,

Shabbir

when do you get the error and which module are you using? besides, for security reasons you should upgrade immediately to DNN 4.9.5 or latest DNN 5.

Hi Sebastian,

I am trying to upload the file from the Admin > File Manager module.

And the upgrade has been due for a while, but am not sure how long the servers will be down and also how easy it would be the data migration related the same.

Thanks & Best Regards,

Shabbir

Hi Sebastian,

I have upgraded the DNN installation to version 4.9.5 and the key is set as:

httpRuntime useFullyQualifiedRedirectUrl="true" maxRequestLength="40960" requestLengthDiskThreshold="40960"

But still I cannot upload the file to the server. I have been trying both locally on the server as well as remotely on a client.

Any idea, what am I missing now?

Thanks,

Shabbir

I am not sure, but sometimes there is an overhead for encoding you need to take into account, I suggest trying to use doubled values.
