Search can't work - Administration and Configuration

Search can't work

I'm using DNN3.2.2, I have 2 questions:

1. I inputed text into textbox end enter Search, no result's displayed :(

2. The Delete item in dropdown menu can't work though Setting item & Move item work well.

Any suggestion for me? thanks a lot.

the search needs a search index to be built up, please refer to the search tutorials, how to set this up.
would you mind to tell us the module, you are talking about?

2. I realize that all modules are the same. The red cross icon (on top-left dropdown menu) of module doesn't work, the status bar notice that javascript error, so if I want to delete any module on page, I often click on Modules' setting icon on bottom-right. This takes me much time to delete a module.

this sounds like a problem with your client side scripts. I don't know a solution at the moment, you should post the concrete JS error and the browser you use.

in browser window, it only shows: script error!

I'm using Maxthon as well as IE 6.0, win XP, sql2000, .net1.1

I enabled running java script (all items(help, help online, Setting, Move) do well, but Delete item does not). I can't select Delete item form dropdown menu, so I must click delete link from setting (bottom-right of module), it takes much time :(
