Hi -

We have pages in one portal we want to move to another portal.  The "Export Page" moves the parent page great, but does not export the child page(s), too.  Many of the parent pages have complex networks of child-pages, sub-child pages, sub-sub pages, etc.  Before starting the serious chore of exporting these pages one-by-one does anybody know of a method to move the parent/children pages left exactly intact?

Thanks!

Todd

Maybe , you can export the full portal.

And then you manually edit the exported xml file and remove all the pages you dont want to reimport.

And then import that file with the "add " option.

(I advise you to make a backupp before !)

Hi rightangel, My first thoughts are changing the id's of the pages in the dbase (back it up !!!) If you change the PortalId ??? I would build a test case with a small website to test if this is possible and perhaps somebody knows. greeting, Hans
