I am trying to figure out how to save/export the EventLog and SiteLog.  Is it possible to do so within DNN or does anyone know of a module that allows this?  I would like to save the logs prior to my standard purging which I do to keep performance up.

You can backup the file for the event viewer before you purge it. If you go into Admin/Event Viewer. Scroll to the bottom and click edit log settings.

As for Site logs you can you into Host/Hostsettings and in there is an option to log to a file, just back the file before you purge.

Another thing you can do it go into the installation database and find the table "EventLog" , You can export that table to excel or whatever you choose before you purge.

You can do the same thing with the table "SiteLog"

Thanks for the quick reply.  I went into the Event View and clicked on Edit Log Settings, but I couldn't find anywhere to save all the content of the logs.  There were a bunch of individual LogType Settings which I could edit, but nothing to export or save.  I even tried to add an email address in the Login_Success entry to see if that one would be emailed, but that didn't work.  New logins didn't prompt an email either.

So I guess I need more assistance or suggestions on a module that may meet my needs.
