Ive just create a page (called "Login"), set it to All users visible, but did not include in menu - I placed the account login and view profile modules on this page, and set it to the login page in the site admin... but now I cant login - it just reloads the home page.

Anyone got any ideas?

What permissions did you set on your 'new' login page? Unauthenticated?

Chris, I put a green tick next to the "All Users" under "View"

Apparently the "View Profile" module redirects users to the homepage if not logged in... I assumed it was the new "user Account" module so unauth'd users could register and authed users could view their profile... Silly me.. Whats the new "User Account" module these days so people can register?

To do what your like you need to create another page (User registration) and drop a "Users And Roles" module on that page. That page should be hidden from the menu and set to view by All Users. Your Login page should also be hidden from the menu and set to view by Unauthenticated Users. Make certain you make these changes in the Admin>Site Settings>advanced settings too.

Keep in mind that the Users and Roles module has multiple view controls, so you'll need to delete all but the "Sign-in" view.
