It looks like one of your resource (.resx) files used for localization is malformed. If you examine any resource file for your site by opening it in a text editor, you'll see XML code like the following:

<data name="plFramework.Text" xml:space="preserve">
    <value>.NET Framework:</value>
  </data>
  <data name="plFramework.Help" xml:space="preserve">
    <value>The .NET Framework version which the application is running on - specified through IIS</value>
  </data>

What has probably happened is that maybe you have entered html formatting tags in the text contained in the "value" field, which makes the xml parser unable to read the specific file or, if you have edited the file by hand, forgot to close a tag or accidentally deleted a tag. Look for any alterations you have done recently to any language files or uninstall any language pack you may have installed and see if the problem goes away.

DotNetNuke them!

Thanks for your quick response Sotiris,

As you have supposed, the website that gives me problems is multilingual. I will do tests to try to locate what resx files may be giving me this error.

The truth is that it is a problematic mistake because it slows the page load and also fills the event log at risk of reaching the maximum size of the given data base.

Thank you very much!

Hi,
I have revised the resx files of my site and they are apparently correct. This error happens in all the pages of my site and makes the database size grow extremely fast.

What I don't understand is how can I get an error from this file,because it doesn't exist:
C:\inetpub\wwwPortal\Library\Common\Utilities\DataCache.vb:line 348

Can anyone help me with this error. Thanks!
