Hi,
first want to say hi to all the DDN members out there i'm new to the group and hop to be able to learn and contribute to the community asap

I was adding a background to my site from the admin configurations panel and was able to add it, but when i scroll down the image goes up and the background turns white.

Now i have 2 questing if any one has the time to help me out :)

1. is there a way to set it so that the background doesn't move but that the contend moves over it almost like having 2 lays i found this when i was googling but i don't know if it will work ( <body background="graphic file name" bgproperties="fixed">) and i don't know where to add it in.

2. if the above is not do able how to i set my background image to stay in the back ground and not move up with the first screen as i'm scrolling down the website.

Hello and welcome.

1. you're better to add styling such as that in the skin.css i.e.
body
{
    background-image: url(bluegradient.jpg);
    background-color: Blue;
}

2. you can use the norepeat and fixed settings - http://webdesign.about.com/od/css/f/blwatermark.htm

you need to edit the forums template, AFAIK atm there is only the template provided within the module package, for further information check out www.dnnforums.com
