On a client's  DNN dev site the permissions for 'all users' is locked (padlock icon). In effect it's locker 'open' , all users can edit and the view/edit button remains in view when not logged on.  Nothing happens when clicking on the padlock - the other check boxes for other user groups work like normal. The problem is there for host and admin. Any ideas what's going on?
Thanks,
Peter

Peter, which DNN version? there is a known issue in 5.4.x, where RegisterRoleID and AdministratorsRoleID are not properly set in portals table.

Hi Sebastian,
Yup, I think you've hit the nail on the head. It's 05.04.02 (66) I notice that 'critical updates' is showing - would installing them fix?
Best,
Peter

peter, you should try an upgrade, at least to 5.4.4, if you don't use any additional language in your site or modules displayed on all pages, you may even upgrade to 5.6.0. You might still need to adjust the RegisteredRoleID and AdministratorsRoleID in portals table (according to ID values from your Roles table).

Cheers from Germany,
Sebastian Leupold
