Hi,

Normally I disable english default language for my sites (since I live in a spanish speaking country) and set spanish as default site language in both: language settings and site settings. It worked fine.

This time I'm trying to leave english enabled (BUT NOT AS DEFAULT FOR ALL USERS) just so only myself can select the language when logged in, since I haven't found a decent spanish pack with all correct functions for back-end. For some reason the complete site rolls back to english again, even though it's not set as default site language.

Basic issue: Other languages (not default english) will only work as default when english is disabled.

any ideas?

PS: I'm using DNN0 5.04.01 (26)

what is default language in your Site Settings? did you enable "Detect browser language" in Admin :: Languages? When does the language switch? Do you have a link with language parameter included on any page?

Cheers from Germany,

It had "Detect browser language" and language parameter URL enabled. I had never even used that before... apparently it wasn't enabled by default before.
