After we upgraded to 5.x from 4.x last Spring, the Site Log quit logging.  It was generating "Site Log not enabled" or something like that when the Storage was set to "File System".  After changing the radio button to "Database", it now shows "Your Hosting Provider Has Limited Your Portal To 10 Days Of Site Log History" but  displays "No records were found" for any display request.  Does DNN have to be restarted after changing the storage setting?  Any ideas?

Running DNN 05.04.01 (26)
Host/Site Log Storage : Database (tried both)
Host/Site Log Buffer: 2000
Host/Site Log History: 120
Admin/Site Log History(Days): 10

usually not, please check log duration setting for host and admin.

I don't see any settings labeled "duration".  As shown above, the Host is set for 120 days and the Portal is set for 10 days.  None of the other portals work either.

there are settings "keep log for ..." or sth like this in host settings and site settings.

I think your mean the "Site Log History" which in my first email is shown to be set at 120 days for the Host and 10 days for the Portal.  There's nothing else in the "Other Settings" menus except as listed above.
