I have added two txt/html to left panes, one  tocontent pane, and three to right panes
After putting my text, the bottoms of these are not aligned
Is there any way I can align them may be by limiting the width of each panel?
Where can I do that?

it depends on the skin of your site, how widths are determined. same for height of containers, usually they adjust to the content, but you can also define fixed height and scroll bar.

Thanks
Which file to edit for that? Say in the default skin

skin file is usually <skinname>.html, that gets to be compiled into <skinname>.ascx during installation and works in conjuction with skin.css (or sometimes used: <skinname>.css). Same structure for the container.

Default skins are located at /portals/_default/skins/<skinname>
