I have added numerous modules over the last few months with NO PROBLEM.

I log in as host then go to admin page or Host page and then Extensions and at the bottom I can add a module.

However NOW at the bottom of the page after the list of items there is Nothing.  There is no way to add a module.

It does show that Updates for the DNN Foundation version is available.  Do I have to update from 5.5.1 to the new version first?

I tried changing the filter on extensions to Filter by type module and that makes no difference.  I tried it both in IE and Firefox with same results.

It seemed unlikely, but I thought I had too many modules so I deleted several I am not using.  Naturally that made no difference

I must have changed something in my system, but I am not sure what????

1. you may use Extensions page in Host menu only. 2. please make sure on the control panel that you are in EDIT mode. :))

YES, you are 100% RIGHT!!!   SORRY to ask such a stupid question!!!

WOW, it is strange how you (ME) get into a pattern and do it the same way always AND THEN GET CONFUSED WHEN SOMETHING CHANGES.

i NERER  (very seldom)  use the view mode so I did not even notice that had changed.

Obviously I was in view mode before AT SOMETIME and it came back to that so I could not add a module.

I just changed to Edit (as you suggest) and YES it works as it always has.

THANKS!!!!

great you were able to solve it - you may want to have a look at Advanced Control Panel from www.oliverhine.com, which is a bit easier to use :)
