I would appreciate any hint or idea in this matter, since it has been bugging me for sometime...

I have exported a portal in the host --> portals section. the new portal has has the same IP than the old one, only there will be a slight difference in the skin and the URL is different. I have created a testing environment first, (exported portal is still using the same skin) different portal alias. i would like to see how the content is shared. 

firstly, all content did not get exported, but this does not bother me as i can link it manually. pages with exported content are displaying it from the previous URL instead of from the new one. if i change the URL manually, the same content is displayed, but then once I refresh the page, the URL changes back to the previous one.

any hint is very much appreciated.
