When I log into one of my DNN sites (as an admin) and go to the File Manger under the admin menu I find that all the buttons are grayed out and cannot be slected. No uploading, No deleting, ect.

If I log in as a host account and view the File Manager - all the options are fine. I have checked the security roles of the admin user and they are set correctly (I have Administrator role set) - Am I looking over something?

Thanks.

check the control panel at the top left of the screen, you need to be in 'edit' mode, not 'view' or 'layout'

Buy the new Professional DNN7: Open Source .NET CMS Platform book Amazon US

Any folder in particular or for all folders?  You may want to check the particular folder permissions in the File Manager, your admin role will need the "Full Control" permissions selected.

I was in view mode and did not notice it. Thanks for the tip though. When people can't edit anything I make sure they are set to have admin rights.
