Hello,

Whenever I try to use a context menu for DotNetNuke (version 5.6.1) as part of the DNN web control package I get the following error message logged. In addition, the menu never appears:

This has been resolved by just redeploying the 5.6.1 update.

Thanks to anyone who looked at this issue.

no is not I think. I experiencing the eternal loading image and wait a lifetime to see the popup to see the module menu. I tried in firefox, ie, chrome and still the same error. I just upgrade to 5.6.2 and same behaivior. Any helpfull thoughts?

In Host --> Host Settings, Advanced Settings, Performance Settings, find the drop-down list for "Compressions Settings" and change it to "No Compression". This issue first appeared in 5.6.0 and was not fixed in 5.6.2.

Oh I did that and Works! thank you, but now since I change that in the performance, how I can do de best and faster dnn site if one of the recommentations is that i research is use gz compress? Maybe Im change themes but if some recommentation link availabe will be appreciated.
