The Search function in the User Accounts page does not work.

It turns back no users, whatever search I try (by username, firstname, etc) although the user accounts are there, and I find them by clicking on their username's first letters below the search field.

Any clues what is wrong? Updated to 5.6.1 some days ago, but this has been like this for some time, also with 5.5.1 - just haven't had time to investigate the issue before.  Any help is appreciated!

No errors in the event log, and no other pages up but the User Account page with search.

I have this same issue: the search functionality in the core User Accounts module in DNN 5.6.1 is broken. I use the function to find users by their email account. It was working before the last update of DNN from 5.6.0 to 5.6.1; no errors are logged - after clicking on the search icon, the progress bar displays briefly showing that the search has started, but after a few seconds it stops and does not display any accounts. If I click on one of the alpha characters, those appear to work fine and the list of user accounts displays. Using one of the displayed values to do a search, for example by username or email, the search again appears to be working but then the display does not change. I have 2 separate production DNN sites and both have the identical issue.
