for some reason, almost all of the Host links have stopped working.

http://localhost/dougjones/Host/Host%20Settings/tabid/16/portalid/0/Default.aspx

This just doesn't work anymore. I cleaned out the Temporary.asp folders and restarted IIS. I even created a separate application pool for this site. It still does not work. Is this because of a skin that I installed?

When I tried to make sure my skin did not affect the Admin pages, I got the following error:

A potentially dangerous Request.QueryString value was detected from the client (error="...$SkinLst="
So I updated the web.config as per the instructions:

which now allows me to update the skin again. However, it still doesn't fix the problem. This happened to another web site recently, but I thought it was me.

It looks like a major bug in DNN..... Any ideas or solutions out there?

You might check the TABS table, see if the HOST pages are marked as "issecure" now

I have this DNN site on RackSpace Cloud. Whenever I enable SSL, the host pages and my Catalook pages all stop working. As soon as I disable SSL in Admin Settings, the pages start working again.

Hopefully that is a clue for someone to help me solve this problem!

TIA,

Miles

So these pages should or should not be marked IsSecure? At the moment they are marked True.

It must be a bug in DNN. As soon as I turn SSL on in Admin-Settings, these pages go sideways, and so it appears other pages do as well that are marked secure!!

I guess I have to admit that I have not used SSL with my DNN web sites before, and so consequently have not run into this problem before.

Ideas? The host pages are all marked as IsSecure=True.

TIA,
