Recently there is a message: "You must be in Edit Mode to enter content, and then you can use the Module Action Menu or Module Action Buttons to manage content" appearing on the portal for those who are not log in. Is there any way to remove this message?

did you grant edit permission to those users for a module?

It is supposed to be a public page for all to view but not all to edit.

I have tried to change the page's edit permission to deny edit for all except for admin. But still it is appearing.

Strangely, the message now is not appearing, though nothing is changed. -_-' Quite puzzling.

maybe it was a caching issue - module output may be cached for unauthenticated users.
