Hi guys,

I want to have a module that allows me to display the recent news on the home page, and have a single page that displays all the news items with a paging functionality but I cannot seem to find such module in the defualt DNN modules.

Do we not have such functionality?

What module is used on this site to display the news on the home page and list them all on the Press page (http://www.dotnetnuke.com/News/PressReleases/tabid/804/Default.aspx)?

IMHO, the best most flexible News Article module is Ventrian's News Articles. It does what you ask and a great deal more. It is so flexible with it's template design I use it for many things such as a Blog, Knowledgebase and of course News. And you want find a better value than with there subscription where you get the module & source code to all their modules.

Thanks for this. I have tried this before but had some difficulties in regards to the template design. Is it that flexible? I.e. can I do any design or display the fields that I want only?

It is Token based templates, so you can include/exclude as much as you'd like. If you look at Scott's site your see an area for showcased sites. The forums there are answered regularly by people that use the module including Scott, the owner/lead developer for Ventrian's modules.
