When installing my dnn on a web server I mistakenly installed in an unwanted folder. Now I have urgent need to move the installation from this folder to my root directory. The installation is working fine and I am afraid moving it may jeopardize my website. How can I relocate this installation without causing trouble?

You should be able to COPY the files to the new directory, then make sure the appropriate users have permissions to the folder.

Then, just change IIS to point to the new directory.

As long as none of you pages/code have any hard-coded directory paths, you should be OK.
