I have looked everywhere for a solution that is not as difficult as everyone is making it out to be. I do not code so I can not make my own, I could if I had the parts but I do not know what I am looking at to do it.
Here is the problem, I want to populate a drop down list in my DNN site with data from a simple csv file or a two column excel file, column 1 is item name colomn 2 is url The drop down list looks for the file (excel or csv) by name and displays the content, simple. On click, or go button the url for the item is displayed. So basically just some script to read the file, display row 1 and go to row 2. Should be simple enough to do but I can not find anything that will do this without having to create a database which I don't want to do. Please tell me this is not as hard as everyone is making it out to be.
