The users that register on my site are students of a school and we want to remind them to use their real names.
How can i add a text to the registration page to state that this is very important?

You really can't change the existing 'registration' page but you can create a new one that you can manage.

There are a couple of tricks to this one ...

1. Log in as host.

2. Add a new page on your site.  Perhaps call it "Registration" - give "all users" access to the page and uncheck the "menu" box so that it does not appear on the menu.

3. Go to Host ->Module Definitions and look for a module called "Users and Roles".  Click the 'pencil' beside this module to edit the settings.

4. The "Users and Roles" module is not available in the regular module drop-down as it is classified as 'not assigned' by default.  Just click on the portal name and then click on the 'arrow' to add it to the 'Assigned' column.  It will now appear on the drop-down list with the rest of the modules.

5. Go back to your newly created "Registration" page and add the module  "Users and Roles" to the page.

6. You will see that it actually loads 3 modules and two of them you don't want on a public registration page.  Just delete the "Security Roles" module from the page and the "User Accounts" module as well.  This just deletes them from your newly created page - not from the site as a whole :)

7. Last step is to tell the site where to send users when they click on the default 'Registration' link.  Go to the Admin - > site settings page.  Under the 'Advanced Settings' you will see a drop-down that will allow you to select the new 'Registration" page you created.  Do this for the "Registration Page:"  prompt and then save.

Now you should be able to log out of your site, click on the 'Registration' link and be taken to your new registration page.
