Recently, I noticed that my "portal aliases" list contains unfamiliar domain names and URLs.  I removed them, but after about a week I see new domains and URLs added to the list!  The "PortalAlias Mapping Mode" is set to "Canonical" - does that have anything to do with it?

I removed the unfamiliar entries again, and re-checked in a few hours - they are still gone.  But this happened twice already -- I am worried because adding these domains would require an Admin or Host access -- is there a security breach?

How is this possible otherwise?

This is a known issue and has been resolved in 5.6.2

Well...that's good to know, although we are unable to install 5.6.2 upgrade because of the issues reported here -> http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Resources/Forums/tabid/795/forumid/200/postid/412957/scope/posts/Default.aspx#412957

Catch-22 situation ?
