We are running DotNetNuke 05.06.01 and encountered an error where the Upload link on the File Manager no longer works.  When we click the Icon, the page simply refreshes, but we cannot get to the Upload screen.

I've tested this in IE and Firefox with the same results.  I've also tried applying the standard Minimal Extropy skin to the page and still get the same results.

Unfortunately, the event viewer doesn't give us much either...

No. We are in edit mode... View mode disables the buttons and turns them gray as expected. When in edit mode, the button is active, it just doesn't do anything... except refresh the screen.

If you have not already tried turning off compression, login in as host then

1. Navigate to Host --> Settings
2. Expand the Advanced Settings then the Performance Settings section
3. Change "Compression Setting" to "No Compression"
4. Update Host Settings

I'm not sure that this is your issue but their have been reports of File Manager functions not working that are related to the more general compression issue in DNN 5.6.1 and 5.6.2.
