Folks, I am trying to get additional profile fields to show during registration on DNN5.6.2.  I don't know what I'm missing, but as soon as I add a field, registration no longer works.  The news fields don't show and when I register I get that little ajax update row of boxes at the base of the registration form and it stays that way, spinning and spinning.  Registration never completes.  Specifically, I have:
  1. Gone to Manage Profile Properties and set Street to visible and required and viewable by admin only.
  2. Gone to User Settings and set Require Valid Profile on Registration and Require Valid Profile on Login.
  3. I have my User Profile page set to a public page called User Profile.
If I undo #1, then registration works.  But when I add that Street field, the registration form does not show it and no registrations succeed.  I see no errors in the log.

What am I missing?

why do you set a property to reqired and visible by admin only - no ordinary user will be able to register properly.
