Hi Ken

Even using ftp there are times when you need to synchronise files uploaded by ftp means so you probably still need to find a cause for this problem.

BTW: Have you tried selecting the root folder and then select the Recursive tick box and then clicking Synchronise?

Thanks for the response.

I've tried just about everything in File Manger to get a response, including the recursive and synchronize two-step tango.  I am out of ideas.  I am hoping that this problem will not break my site down the road.

Hi Ken

So what happens if you create a new page in admin and put a file manager module on the page?

Hi Ian,

So, what happens when you make a new admin page and place the file manager module in it? You get a working file manager! I guess I'll keep the host file manager page in case anyone can let me know how to fix/repair it.

Once again, I feel like the clueless caller calling in to the Mr. Obvious show...

Thanks.

Ken

Hi Ken

Don't  worry - We all miss the odd trick from time to time. I am very glad that this has worked for you.
