While trying to upload photos of my DNN6 Beta1 situation using the forum's html editor at www.DotNetNuke.com, I landed NOT at a general directory for images, nor one specific to me as I would have expected, but instead at the apparent root of your web server. As shown here, I can walk the entire directory structure and note at least some other images (but not ASPX/DOCX files fortunately!) in those directories.

Also, I wasn't able to find a place to store my images even if I wanted, so put them on my own site for now.

I did as well, several minutes ago making a post to the forum. I also found it extremely slow as per the past....
