I installed DNN Community version to my local system to do some testing. I've lost my install notes which contained the super user account. I didn't configure SMTP when I ran through the wizard and I can't get the system to send a password recovery email. Now when I try to run the installwizard.aspx page it drops me back to the default portal page.

Does anyone know....

Can I figue SMTP manually?
Can I rerun the Install Wizard and setup a new portal?

Or any other advice on how to get back into DNN?

From Database u can login in as Host account...just following steps..

1) Register as new user
2) then go to database and open table aspnet_Membership in that table u can find two columns Password and PasswordSalt

3) then copy ur new created user password and passwordsalt at host password and passwordsalt respectively.

You can also update a new user account to be a superuser. Check the Users table. You'll see it clearly there.
