Hi, I found this tip since my site is extremely slow sometimes, even with the host-tracker.com and dnnmonitor.com keep alive services. My question is... does this really work? and secondly, where do I execute this code?

http://snippets.dzone.com/posts/show/...

 try { Process process = Process.GetCurrentProcess(); process.MaxWorkingSet = loProcess.MaxWorkingSet; process.Dispose(); } catch { }

Thanks,

couple of points - that code requires full trust code access security (most DotNetNuke sites run under partial trust so it wouldn't work). Also, IMHO it's not worth the effort, IIS/asp.net do a good job of releasing uncommitted space as required , that code simply nudges it a bit faster but I doubt will help (it's more applicable to win forms code). I recommend reading the wiki page at http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Resources/Wiki/Page/Performance_best_practices.aspx for better suggestions.
