Hi,

I'm using DNN 4.9.x and the SQL server it's in a different machine than the Web server. A network problem caused the connection to the SQL server to fail. The problem is that the SQL dump gets written on my Web site's page: [DNN Logo] / SQL Exception / Error Details / A network-related or instance-specific error occurred while establishing a connection to SQL Server....

Can I turn this off? I would prefer to show a blank or custom generic error (Ex "Come back soon...") for the end users.

Any help appreciated... thanks!

the event logged will only output issues to the screen if it cannot log them succesfully in whatever the provider is - as the provider is by default the database provider it outputs them in the case of a database failure (the exception is sanitised to remove sensitive details such as username/password) - if you don't want that screen to show you can configure a 500 error screen in IIS.
